Building CareerScope in public: closed alpha notes

What we’re validating in alpha—privacy defaults, swipe UX, and matching quality—before Beta cover letters.

Closed alpha is where taste meets telemetry. We’re inviting small cohorts, watching where people hesitate, and deleting anything that feels like grind.

Non-negotiables for this phase: Apple Sign In and email auth via Supabase, account deletion that actually deletes, and a calm swipe deck grounded in résumé plus work-style fit. AI-tailored cover letters are planned for Beta—drafts you review, never auto-submitted mail.

Job data comes from partners like Adzuna; ranking and presentation are ours. Employers don’t browse a public candidate marketplace.

If you’re on the waitlist: thank you. We’re optimizing for the feeling that discovering the right role could be as intentional as the career you’re building.
